ABT News 06/20/2013
Handicap for both Classic and Masters is 80% of 225. Membership is $30 which is good for one year from date of signup and entitles you to bowl in any ABT tournament throughout the country.
SPECIAL NOTE:
In accordance with ABT rules and regulations, ALL bowlers MUST wear a bowling shirt with your first and last name on the back and the ABT logo patch ironed on or embroidered on the front chest or sleeve at all tournaments locally and nationally.

This holiday tournament is dedicated to "Dave Thompson." (January 1, 1942 - May 7, 2012) Dave loved this particular tournament each year and was a loyal, dedicated ABT member/director since joining in 1990. He loved bowling itself, but especially looked forward to seeing many of our ABT members each weekend; not to mention "FINING" members for NO SHIRTS, etc... He definitely followed the rule book! He had a great sense of humor and went out of his way to help us on a regular basis. We miss him alot! Please join us, if you can, on his behalf and as always, thank you for your continued support.

MEMBERSHIP INFO
New members welcome--Join and bowl at any of our weekend tournaments! Membership is $30 (Good for one full year)
If your dues have lapsed or you haven't bowled in a while, you can still rejoin and bowl at anytime. We will update your information at check-in. Your average will be verified with USBC records. If you need a new USBC sanction card, we can order one for you.
Bowl once within 120 days so your ABT average isn't affected by your league & USBC average.
Bring in five (5) new members and become a LIFETIME MEMBER which makes you prepaid for ALL local tournaments and you never have to pay dues again.
Tournaments are run almost every weekend throughout the Tri-State area. A schedule can be obtained from our website at phl.abtbowling.com along with results and flyers.

For those of you interested in the "GOLD" program, even though our branch is not participating, we will order your "GOLD MEMBERSHIP". You will have to pay $200 or more yearly in order to stay Gold. There is NO lifetime membership with Gold.

2012 PRIZE WINNER STATISTICS
Total amount paid out in 2012 was $246,982. There were 261 different members who cashed. Out of the top ten prize winners, there were 4 Masters and 6 Classic winners. The top ten (10) prize winners in order were Bill Scullion ($11,920), Brian Elder ($11,115), Ericka Thomas($10,780), Paul Woerner ($9,575), Caroline Todd ($8,270), Donald Hart($6,452.50), Tommy Johnson ($6,105), Michael Cordes($5,690), Troy Travers($5,580) and Thomas Wallace ($5,235.50).
There were a total of 67 Champions; 37 Classic and 30 Masters. Six champions won twice, four won three times and one won four times. Out of the 261 cashers, there were three (3) that won over $10,000, eleven (11) that won over $5,000, and 63 won more than $1,000. Out of the top twenty five (25) prize winners, 13 were Classic and 12 were Masters.
For Scratch, there were forty eight (48) Champions. The top two winners were Tommy Johnson and Paul Woerner who both won eight (8). There were a total of twenty five (25) different scratch winners.
